چکیده

We analyze intermittency in intensity and fluorescence lifetime of CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots by applying unbiased Bayesian inference analysis methods. apply change-point (CPA) a state clustering algorithm to determine the timing switching events number states between which occurs statistically manner, we have benchmarked particularly highly multistate emitters. conclude that display plethora gray brightness, broadly speaking, correlates inversely with decay rate, confirming multiple recombination centers model. leverage CPA partitioning examine aging memory effects. find tend return bright before jumping dim when choosing state, they explore entire set available.

Conductance in quantum wires by three quantum dots arrays

A noninteracting quantum-dot arrays side coupled to a quantum wire is studied. Transport through the quantum wire is investigated by using a noninteracting Anderson tunneling Hamiltonian. The conductance at zero temperature develops an oscillating band with resonances and antiresonances due to constructive and destructive interference in the ballistic channel, respectively. Moreover, we have fo...

Luminescent manganese-doped CsPbCl3 perovskite quantum dots

Nanocrystalline cesium lead halide perovskites (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, and I) form an exciting new class of semiconductor materials showing quantum confinement. The emission color can be tuned over the full visible spectral region making them promising for light‒emitting applications. Further control over the optical and magnetic properties of quantum dots (QDs) can be achieved through doping of t...

Atomistic model of fluorescence intermittency of colloidal quantum dots.

Optoelectronic applications of colloidal quantum dots demand a high emission efficiency, stability in time, and narrow spectral bandwidth. Electronic trap states interfere with the above properties but understanding of their origin remains lacking, inhibiting the development of robust passivation techniques. Here we show that surface vacancies improve the fluorescence yield compared to vacancy-...

Universal emission intermittency in quantum dots, nanorods, and nanowires

Virtually all known fluorophores, including semiconductor nanoparticles, nanorods and nanowires exhibit unexplainable episodes of intermittent emission blinking. A most remarkable feature of the fluorescence intermittency is a universal power law distribution of onand off-times. For nanoparticles the resulting power law extends over an extraordinarily wide dynamic range: nine orders of magnitud...
